After a few days of getting back on track with my diet, I faced some challenges along the way. First, it was Easter, and I couldn’t resist the temptations of the festive treats, which caused my healthy eating plan to take a back seat for a while. Then, I had a bachelor party, which was a lot of fun, but it was virtually impossible to eat healthy during that period. After indulging in some not-so-healthy food choices, I decided to step on the scale, and to my disappointment, I weighed 89 kilograms with a height of 1.83 meters.
It’s hard to determine how much overweight I am because I have been working out at the gym diligently over the past year, and I can see the results in my toned abs, broad back, and arms. However, I still have some stubborn fat that needs to be shed off, and that’s why I’ve decided to try a low-carb diet, similar to Atkins or Dukan diet. I started yesterday and had a simple meal of salad with some meat in the evening. During the day, I did an hour of strength training at the gym, followed by an hour of walking in the evening.
It’s not always easy to stick to a diet plan, especially when faced with social events or holidays that tempt us with indulgent foods. However, I am determined to stay focused on my goal of achieving a healthier weight and lifestyle. I know it won’t be easy, but I am committed to making positive changes and staying consistent with my diet and exercise routine.
I believe that finding a balance between enjoying life’s pleasures and taking care of our health is crucial. While it’s okay to indulge in treats occasionally, it’s important to be mindful of our choices and make conscious efforts to incorporate healthy habits into our daily lives. I am aware that it will require discipline, effort, and patience, but I am willing to put in the work to achieve my weight loss goals.
I will keep you all updated on my progress, and I hope to share some tips and insights along the way. I appreciate your support and encouragement as I embark on this journey towards a healthier me. Let’s do this!
